Welcome to Burgham Horse Festival
This isn't just any Festival - this is the brand-new, action-packed, thrill-a-minute Burgham Horse Festival. It's a fantastic new addition to Northumberland's sporting calendar, and it will attract thousands to the county. They won't all be horse-lovers, because this Festival has something to please just about every member of the family, with a variety of attractions, opportunities for retail therapy galore - and a special Food Hall offering a feast of locally-produced fare to please every palate.
Set in the lovely Burgham Park development five miles north of Morpeth on the A1, the Festival's first year will feature top-level Showjumping, with an exciting range of classes in two arenas for everyone from aspiring amateurs to top professionals - even giving our Olympic competitors a challenge as part of their preparation for 2012.
There's also Dressage for those who enjoy the skill and elegance of horse and rider working in perfect harmony.
Northumberland's never had an event like this before - and conservative estimates predict it will draw in around six thousand visitors over the three days from July 23-25, providing the county's tourism industry with a showcase attraction.
The Burgham Horse Festival would like to thank...
